In the cold northern winter, if the display screen does not have insulation measures, the internal electronic components will degrade their performance due to the low temperature and may even be directly damaged.
For example, some small LED lamp beads will reduce their luminous efficiency at low temperatures and the screen brightness will become dim. Moreover, if you are in a low temperature environment for a long time, the materials inside the lamp beads are shrinking unevenly, and dead lights may occur. In hot summers, especially outdoor displays, direct sunlight will cause temperatures to soar. If the heat dissipation is not timely, the chips, circuit boards and other components inside the display will overheat, accelerate aging, and even burn, resulting in garbled codes and abnormal color blocks on the display screen. Because the circuit boards and electronic components inside the LED display are all precision, the conductivity of water vapor will cause current to flow to places where it should not be, causing damage to the components. Unstable power supply is a "frequently" of display failures. If the power supply voltage fluctuates too much, it will be too high and too low, the internal components of the display will not be able to stand it. When the voltage is too high, it will exceed the rated voltage range of the component, just like adding too much oil to the car engine, which can easily "burn out" the component. For example, the driver chip may be broken down by instantaneous high voltage, causing the display to fail to display normally. When the voltage is too low, the brightness of the display will drop significantly, and some functions may not start normally, just like the machine does not have enough power. In complex electromagnetic environments, signal interference can make the LED display "dirty". Nowadays, various electronic devices are everywhere, such as nearby communication base stations, large transformers, other electronic display screens, etc., which will generate electromagnetic waves. When these electromagnetic waves interfere with the signal transmission line of the LED display, signal distortion will occur. It’s like you are listening to a radio, and there is a high-power electrical appliance next to it, and the sound of the radio will be murmur and intermittent. For the display, signal distortion will cause mosaics, snowflakes, or the color display will be inaccurate. Moreover, if the signal line is not shielded, the interfering signal can easily "take loopholes" and enter the display screen along the signal line, interfering with the normal display signal, making the screen displayed on the display completely inconsistent with the actual content to be displayed.
- The "pit" of improper installation and maintenance
If the installation process is not done well, subsequent failures will plant the "seeds". If the installation position of the display screen is unreasonable, such as when it is installed in a place where strong light is exposed and no shading measures are taken, the display effect of the display screen will be greatly reduced, and long-term exposure to strong light will accelerate the aging of the display screen.
