LED electronic screen lamp bead packaging is mainly divided into resin packaging and silicone packaging, among which resin packaging is relatively cheap. Silicone packaging has better heat dissipation performance due to different materials, so the price is relatively high.

LED lamp bead chip

The selection of LED lamp bead chips is often divided into domestic, foreign and Taiwanese chips. American chips are high-end, followed by Japanese and German chips, and then Taiwanese chips. Differences in chip grades will lead to differences in heat dissipation performance. LED display manufacturers will provide different grades of chip selections based on user needs. There are two ways to assemble LED lamp beads: manual welding and machine welding. Manual welding is less efficient and can easily lead to inconsistent solder joint sizes and unsightly appearance. In contrast, machine welding uses reflow soldering, which has consistent solder joint sizes, smooth appearance, high efficiency, and does not cause damage to the LED chip due to static electricity.

LED brightness

The indoor brightness of LED electronic screens is usually lower than that of outdoor screens, which results in higher prices for outdoor displays of the same model. The brightness of LED lamp beads of the same model can be divided into two types: normal brightness and high brightness, and the prices will also be different. FPC material

FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit Board) materials include rolled copper and coated copper. Copper coating is relatively cheap, but it easily falls off when bent; rolled copper is more expensive, but not easy to fall off. When purchasing raw materials, LED display manufacturers need to pay attention to whether the FPC has environmental certification, UL certification, etc. The price with a certificate is generally higher.

LED color

Different LED colors have different prices. Red and green are relatively expensive due to the difficulty of color matching and spectroscopic color separation. Color separation such as red, yellow and blue is relatively easy, so the consistency is better and the price is cheaper. Purple and brown are the most expensive due to color matching.

LED color consistency

The color consistency of LED lamp beads requires spectroscopic and color separation, but some small packaging factories do not have spectroscopic and color separation equipment, so the quality is difficult to guarantee. LED lamp beads without spectroscopic color separation have poor color consistency, which affects the LED display effect. LED displays are divided into single-color, dual-color and full-color types.
